Department Goals

• Maintain clients' ability to function daily with the least amount of assistance at home and in the community

• Maintain/increase clients' effective verbal skills and safety with swallowing during meals

• Maintain clients' overall body strength and joint range of motion.

Department's Objectives

• Work with multidisciplinary ADHC team to ensure clients achieve therapeutic goals

• Assist clients in acquiring appropriate mobility adaptive equipment so they can care for their activities of daily living
  

• Assist clients in regaining and maintaining overall communication skills

Rehabilitation Department Offers

• Referrals to vision and hearing specialists

• Provides vision/hearing adaptive equipment/education as needed

• Provides home evaluations as needed to ensure client safety in home
